Firewood Order – Terms and Conditions
In purchasing firewood from us you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions:
Firewood Deliveries
Booking a delivery time online via order page is only a request and times are not confirmed until you Confirm Your Order With Payment with a member of our team. If you are ordering less than 2m cube your order will generally be delivered with other orders and this can mean waiting for our Drivers to get to your area. We deliver based on an area by area roster and cannot guarantee delivery times, especially during winter months. Minimum order amount $200 Delivery tip off location on your premises is at the discretion of the delivery driver. Firewood trucks are Trading standards approved for the firewood volume they carry. All firewood is advertised by the “Thrown” cube i.e. the volume the firewood fills when it is dropped into a container which measures 1 cube (1m x 1m x 1m). If you wish to view the volume certificate it is carried in the delivery trucks. Not all trucks have a “truck load” volume water level with the top of the cage – the trucks can carry more than 35 Cubic Meters this is why the wood doesn’t fill it up. Firewood Pick Up;
Firewood can be sold via our yard in Drury based on prior arrangement. Wood can be sold by the cube, by the bobcat bucket load, wheel loader bucket load or by a price we put on a certain amount loaded into a vehicle.
Firewood Payment;
All firewood is expected to be paid before delivery. Payment options include, (Bank Transfer Only delivery). Direct Bank debit transfers must have a delivery address included in the payment reference or the payment can be lost. If you fail to provide payment for firewood order your order won’t be considered.
Stock Availably;
Stock availably can change without notice, although we endeavour to keep stock levels updated we retain the right to cancel orders based on products selling out, Unless order has been confirmed and payment received. Order cancellation will result in a full refund. Availably is only within New Zealand surrounding suburbs.
Refund Policy;
Orders can be cancelled with a full refund prior to the wood being loaded onto our delivery truck. If the payment was made via Bank Transfer 3% fee and $20 administration fee will apply. Firewood returned to our premises will also encounter a $20 administration fee.
Cancellation policy;
We retain the right to cancel any firewood order, at any time, for any reason. Orders can be cancelled with a full refund* prior to the wood being loaded onto our delivery truck. This must happen via Email directly to our staff, not via text or Call. Once wood is loaded onto delivery truck there will be a $50 discharge fee for cancellation, if the truck gets to your premises and the delivery is cancelled without the load being dropped off the cancellation fee is $150. If the load is delivered to the premises after the order was confirmed and the wood is tipped off the order cannot be cancelled and full payment due. It is your responsibility as the firewood purchaser to confirm you wood type and are happy with wood quality before it is delivered.
Summer sale (payment);
Products brought on our summer sale between September and December – may be delivered outside of those dates but must be paid for within the sale period. Although the order can be booked in November for delivery in March the following year – it must be paid for during the sale period to be locked in.
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Authorized employees within the company on a need to know basis only use information collected from individual customers. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our customers. We will not sell, share or rent your personal information to any third party. Emails sent by this company will only be in connection to the products and services which we provide.
